  Position:
LOGISTICS CLERK (Full-time)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM to 5:30PM 
  Job Description:
Busy Distribution Center seeks Logistics Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of the logistics department through accurate data entry, documentation management, and communication with internal teams and external partners. This role ensures that all shipping, receiving, and inventory records are processed efficiently and in compliance with company procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation, including bill of ladings, packing lists, invoices and purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate data entry of shipments, deliveries, and inventory updates in ERP or warehouse management systems
  • Verify shipment contents, quantities, and accuracy against purchase orders or shipping documents
  • Track and record incoming and outgoing shipments, update delivery schedules, and notify appropriate departments of status changes
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and resolve documentation discrepancies
  • File and maintain records for all logistics transactions (digital and paper)
  • Assist with freight quotes, shipment scheduling, and carrier performance tracking
  • Support periodic inventory counts and reconcile data discrepancies
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports as required
  • Perform general clerical duties such as scanning, copying, emailing, and maintaining organized records
  Qualifications / 
  Requirements: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of clerical, logistics, or administrative experience (shipping/receiving or warehouse support a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of shipping terminology and logistics processes is an asset
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • May require occasional lifting of packages or materials under 25 lbs.
  • Standard business hours with occasional overtime during peak shipping periods

  Position:
QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR - METAL FABRICATION
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM
  Job Description:
Busy manufacturer and distributor of locomotive parts seeks associate for quality assurance role to perform inspection of manufactured and remanufactured goods. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform inspections of in-process, finished, or incoming products using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Document inspected products or materials in company database
  • Responsible for the calibration of devices and gauges utilized in inspection of products and materials 
  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment, as needed
  Qualifications / 
  Requirements:
  • Understanding of manufactured drawings and GD&T
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in ERP Systems and QA Inspections
  • Experience using and calibrating measuring devices
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated and have good work ethic
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and speed
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  Position:
MACHINE OPERATOR - EXPERIENCED (Full-time)
Hours: Monday - Friday 7AM to 3:30PM 
  Job Description:
Seeking a full-time experienced machinist to program, setup and operate CNC machine to produce locomotive parts. We are a fast-growing business and we need a person who can grow with us. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC horizontal and vertical milling centers and CNC lathes from drawings or blueprints specifications
  • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments 
  • Stop machines to remove finished work pieces or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
  • Check to ensure that work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation
  • Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links
  Qualifications / 
  Requirements: 
  • Familiarity with FANUC, FADAL and/or SIEMANS controllers preferred
  • Experience necessary 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  Position:
ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER (Full-time)

  Job Description:
Seeking a full-time Electrical Assembler to work in fast paced production line-type environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions  
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers
  • Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and/or cloths
  • Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments
  • Fabricate or form parts, coils, or structures according to specifications using drills, calipers, cutters, or saws
  • Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems
  • Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation, and record results
  • Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified
  • Measure and adjust voltages to specified values to determine operational accuracy of instruments
  • Complete, review, and maintain production, time, and component waste reports
  • Distribute materials, supplies, or subassemblies to work areas
  • Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport to storage areas using hoists or hand trucks

  • Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with electrical components
  • Experience using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments

  Job Description:
Seeking a full-time MIG Welder/Metal Fabricator for high volume Machine Shop. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools  
  • Tack-weld fitted parts together
  • Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches
  • Hammer, chip, and grind workpieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal
  • Smooth workpiece edges
  Qualifications /
  Requirements:
  • Experience with break press, plasma cutter and industrial saws preferred
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints preferred
  • Quality and detail focused
  • Reliable, accountable and able to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

  Position:
REMOTE MOBILE LOCOMOTIVE MECHANIC (Full-time) 
  Job Description:

Seeking a full-time experienced Locomotive Service Tech to travel to customer sites to perform maintenance, repairs and/or upgrades on locomotives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Repair, maintain and/or upgrade locomotives at customer sites
  • Communicate with Field Manager using cell phone and internet
  • Fill out work orders to document parts used and labor times for repairs completed
  • Repair or replace defective or worn parts such as bearings, pistons, and gears, using hand tools, torque wrenches, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Remove mechanical units, or other components, using pneumatic hoists and jacks, pinch bars, hand tools, and cutting torches
  • Test units for operability before and after repairs
  • Adjust repaired or replaced units as needed to ensure proper operation
  • Repair, fabricate, and install steel, plastic or copper fittings, using blueprints, shop sketches, and instruction manuals
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, and clean units and components
  • Repair and maintain electrical and electronic controls for propulsion and braking systems
  • Disassemble units such as water pumps, control valves, and compressors so that repairs can be made
  • Measure diameters of axle wheel seats using micrometers, and mark dimensions on axles so that wheels can be bored to specified dimensions
  • Test the electrical systems of locomotive cars by operating systems and using testing equipment such as ammeters
  • Replace defective wiring and insulation, and tighten electrical connections, using hand tools
  • Drive service truck from home to service site and return to home
  • Keep service truck clean and fueled, and complete proper maintenance to keep service truck operational
  • Keep service truck parts inventoried and restock parts as needed, including having adequate parts that may be needed to complete repairs on site
  • Maintain current knowledge of related industries
  • Participates in required on the job training programs
  Qualifications /
  Requirements:
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate shop tools and air tools
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to operate a service truck - CDL preferred
  • Ability to read locomotive service manuals
  • Ability to read electrical schematics preferred
  • Welding knowledge and experience preferred
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to work independently
  • Ability to life in excess of 100 lbs.
  • Work authorization required
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screens, criminal background check, and annual drivers license review
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and date entry experience
